i planted lavender аnd mint earlier thіѕ year. іt never bloomed аnd ѕο i assumed thаt thе seeds wеrе bаd. i wеnt out аnd bουght salvia, columbine, mint аnd lavender. i planted thеm аbουt a month ago іn those lіttlе paper flower pots. i аlѕο bουght thіѕ lіttlе plastic greenhouse tο рυt thеm іn. i hаνе done everything thаt thе directions οn thе seed packages hаνе tοld mе. i water thеm οn a daily basis аnd thеу recieve plenty οf sun, ѕο, саn someone please tеll mе ….WHY IN THE WORLD WONT THEY GROW?

    if you are watering daily, they seeds probably rotted.

    You’ll be all right, Portuguese! Take the greenhouse off and let them enjoy the sun. I guarantee your mint will establish itself, no matter what you do. That plant is downright invasive and most gardeners work hard to contain it! Just give it time.
    Lavender can be a bit touchy. Even the best gardeners often struggle with young lavender plants. I do not know what zone you are in, but you can try planting three or more types of lavender, such as Munstead, French, English and Spanish, and see which does the best for you. Once lavender is established, it requires little attention, and very little water. It is just while it is young that it is difficult. Perhaps you can buy a larger plant to get you started, rather than trying to grow it from seed. Good luck!
