You have taken the term ‘flush’ far to literally RAINMAN style like soo many growers.
Do not feed any nutes for the last week or so, just water, that is what flushing means.
Giving the plant loads of water all at once does nothing, the plant has to absorb the water and that takes days for it to get to the flowers. If this is all you do to improve flavour then you are slipping.
I liked how you popped up behind the plant.
hey can i ask u some questions cuz ive beenn wanting to stat gowing for the longest now
beeing a grower looks like a really hard job haha!!!
does the soil particles mess up the reading of ppm or EC? i noticed mabey it is higher than it actually is.
i like the shirt
Did you trim up some of the leaves off the plant on the right?
awesome video, thank Jason!!
This may sound stupid but it works for me…i use normal 5 gallon buckets when i water or flush i have milkcrates that i sit the buckets on top of, and have decent size bowls underneath to catch all the water.
the milkcrates are just regular plastic milkcrates and the bowls are blue hospital style bowls…simplicity is always the key lol
its an ec meter..and 0 is the number you want in the end, i believe
what ppm are you looking for?.im a novice
plus whats the instrument?..a ph tester?.
what is a good ppm to have during veg and flowering? what ppm are you trying to get now?
Jason, when growing in soil, how often do you flush during the vegatative stage and during the 8 weeks of flowering? I heard with container grows, you should flush each month? and about 2-3 times of plain water more than the volume of medium. for example, 2-3 gallons of plain water to flush a 1 gallon pot.
when the foilage turns yellow, it is also normal in the flowering stage, because bloom fertilizers have less nitrogen in them.
KoCaDrop, why don’t u use c02?
hose water itself is not 0 ppm. tap water usually has a higher ppm than arrow head spring water. plus tap water has chlorine in it. spring water does not. spring water is around 200ppm. pure spring water. so ur not going to have a 0 ppm.
Thanks Jason your the best my dude.
It is not the water that determins the flush it is the desolved solids left in the medium used to grow your cannabis.

jason what do u have to do keep the ppm low do you want your ppm at zero and where do you buy the ppm meter.i m getting the free samples of the massive and finisher from greenplanet and i don’t have a ppm meter plz help
how many gallons of water does it take to flush.
how do i no wen 2 flush blue cheese? i was thinking 2morrow at 5 and a half wks in2 flower trichomes are quite milky
Hey Jason, i’m sure i’ve missed your explanation in another video, i’ve been trying to get them all in in my spare time lol why do you not use c02? does it have to do with being certified organic? also do you use a mesh screening at the bottom of your pots? it would make sense that you would get build up in your sink from the soil debris falling through the holes? or not?
-thanks and happy growing
kdz
your a beast, and your weed is to.
@Jason0930 hahahahahaha, duuuh
you flusah plants on the last week or so before harvest to get out any chemicals in the plant and makes a cleaner taistyr smoke
I have to disagree…somewhat, with you on that one, toweronepower. All you are doing is depriving it of nutes. I\’m pretty sure that flushing is more of a way to rid salt buildup and unwanted \’toxins\’ that the plant isn\’t using. Don\’t get me wrong, I too water with zero nutrients (ph balanced), but the last 2 weeks. That way the plant will use whatever is still in the medium. I do that for 1 week, then I\’ll let them get really dry…almost to the point of wilting. Than I\’ll flush the crap out of it one week before it comes down, just to get rid of salts.
