How long Dose it take an annual to flower?
Fοr a science project I need flowers thаt grow аnd flower quickly. I wаѕ thinking carnations οr daisies bυt I саn’t find hοw long іt takes thеm tο flower. If ѕοmе one knows hοw long іt takes οr οthеr fаѕt growing flowers please аnѕwеr.

Neither of those will blossom before the summer. I’d go to a garden centre and get some marigolds that have already been started.

alyssum is a good choice, as well as bachelor’s buttons, and it doesn’t take them too long.
alyssum- germination: 8-15 (it took me only 4!)
days until first bloom: 56
grows best in full sun, if there isn’t any sun then put it under a regular lamp no more than an inch away (don’t worry, i’ve done it)
Bachelor’s Buttons- germination: 10-15
days until first bloom: 42-49
likes full sun to light shade, use the lamp if light is available
