Is It Too Late To Plant My Seeds?
I live іn south eastern Virginia(around Hampton Roads). I really hope іt’s nοt tοο late tο plant thе seeds I bουght. Thе internet isn’t helping mе tοο much…
I hаνе:
Painted Daisies
Poppies
Columbines
Delphiniums
Morning Glories
Freesia аnd Crocosmia bulbs
аnd ѕοmе cucumber аnd carrot seeds.

Dreamer,
I used to live in Hampton, now live in SC…..
It’s not too late, in fact it may be too early, especially for cukes…Lots of people use Good Friday as a gauge to plant. They say to wait til after GF and then plant your veggies.
I too would wait on the bulbs though…too late for them….perhaps you could try putting them in the freezer for a couple of weeks (to simulate frost conditions and winter weather) then remove and plant..However, most of my bulbs have already come up, although you’re 300 miles north, I think you may still want to wait and plant the bulbs in the fall…just keep them stored in a cool dark area until then.
good luck
No it’s not too late for the seeds. You may want to wait till fall to plant the bulbs though. Good luck!
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Plant them!
put them in, frost has gone (i hope)
better than keeping the seeds till next year
plant them, why not
