Or do I cut off a certain part and plant it? I have a rose bush that I love and would like to make more from it, if possible. Or do I have to just go buy a new rosebush if I want another? I would like to grow my own.

I would like to put a plant on a dock in the middle of a lake. I would like a vine type plant that will grow over the sides and down onto the surface of the water. It needs to be tough and a perennial. I’m in zone 7. It will be in full sun all day….actually, full sun plus the reflection from the water. I would really like a plant that could survive a drought by sucking up water from the branches that have reached the water, saving me a trip by boat or swimming out to water the plant. I have a very large pot, so that should be an occasional event anyway. I’m primarily interested in attractive foliage, but flowers would be an added bonus. What kind of plant would you recommend for this, and why?

It has large leaves that look like raspberry leaves. The stalk has small thin stickers on it and kind of brown. It is multiplying quickly around this stalk. I live in Central Oregon. It has not developed any flowers or fruit. This is the second year growing for it. It is about 3 feet tall. Can anyone help me?

The flower bed is just filled up with dirt, weeds, and pebbles. First I need to clean it out I guess but do I use the dirt that’s already in there or do put soil down? If you want to know, I live in Southern Arizona where it’s always dry and hot and I want to plant perennial flowers. I’m new to gardening and want to know how prepare the flower bed, what type of soil I need (if necessary) and any tips on types of flowers to plant. Thanks alot!

Please help! I am searching for bamboo to use as a privacy screen from my neighbor. The area is roughly 6 feet wide and roughly 30 feet long. I live in Memphis, TN which is zone 7. The area will be full sun. I am looking for a type that will grow (up) very quickly. I am still trying to figure out what will be best…running or clumping. There is a fence between my neighbor and I so I am pretty sure I will need to install a Rhizome Barrier to keep the rhizomes from going into my neighbors yard. My question(s) are…what bamboo is best for screening in zone 7, best for full sun exposure, and the fastest growing (medium size up to 30 or so feet)

BTW, I have an in ground swimming pool that is roughly 4 feet separated by concrete from the bamboo bed to be. If I do a 3 sided barrier will the bamboo cause any problems with the pool or pool plumbing or do I need to place a barrior around all of the bamboo?

It is a native of CA, but will grow in other areas. I have ordered and sewed hundreds of seed that was ordered at various times, to no avail. Please help. Thanks

I am based in UK, but will consider suppliers overseas too. Had no luck with Ebay or any suppliers I can find on Google. Ice plant is a succulent and native of South Africa, but also grows in Europe and USA.
