begonias and petunias both do well in partial sunlight. check yer nursery or walmart nursery to see what wildflower seed they have for your area. we live in texas, and we have wildflowers planted in partial sunlight and they are ravishing.

violets
calla lilies
If you don’t mind that you have to replace them every year, impatiens are super colorful, very pretty, and live well in the shade. Just be sure to water them well when it gets hot and dry. Even when they wilt from thirst, they bounce right back though. You should be able to enjoy them until September.
Impatiens are wonderful in the shade.
